Low Income Accommodation
This service is for single people and families who are low income earners and are struggling to find affordable, permanent housing in the Clermont area. An application, which we can provide and help you complete, must be sent to the Department of Communities. The application will be processed and they then allocate the housing based on certain eligibility and requirements. This process can take up to 6 weeks to complete and a house to be allocated.
Our low income housing consist of a set of flats that has three, one bedroom units and one stand alone, three bedroom, fully fenced house.
Rent is set as a percentage of the tenant’s income in line with Housing Queensland guidelines.
Emergency Accommodation
If you are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless, we have short-term accommodation that may be used until you are back on your feet (if you meet the required criteria). This accommodation is for duration of need, and includes case management to help you set and achieve some goals, such as permanent housing, and can continue after you leave.
